Friday, January 20th. Three weeks into Retirement and Kathy and I are off on a Road Trip come Sunday. Kind of live Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in their Road to Whereever movies. Sunday it is down to Virginia Beach and Fort Story for the night and supper with Ashley Brown and Anaya her daughter. Monday we will continue on down to Jacksonville N.C. to see my cousin Vinita and her Family and then after a few days there we will head down to Charleston for a day, Savannah for a day on over to Pensacola Florida and then Houma Louisiana to see cousins there. Leaving Houma we are on to Corpus Christi and Friends there and then on up to San Antonio, Austin, Clebourne Texas to see some Friends there and then on to Snyder Oklahoma to finish up with my Fathers home (mine now). After that we will probably head to New Mexico for a week and then head back home to prepare for Cousins to come visit with us. I will try and blog some on the trip and include pictures so you will know how our First Real Road Trip goes. Avoir for the day.

Keith,
It is good to see somebody else post on this site. It pleases me to no end. I am just hoping that we can get a lot of the rest of the family to start posting here. With your help I think we can do it. Kathy and I are now 6 days into Retirement and so far it is great. I have to take my car in to the Mazda dealers today to make sure it is in good enough shape to start taking the road trips we anticipate taking. You may be surprised in a month or two as Kathy and I will be in Oklahoma in early February and may take a trip on out to New Mexico before we go home. Not sure how Los Alamos is in February but if there isn't much snow up there we may drive through on our way back home. We are doing ok and I anticipate going in to the National Archieve's next week to do some research on the Potts'. I may stop over at the AG Building at lunch and have lunch with some friends. Well, take care and lets see if we can't get other family to start posting to here. We need to have a discussion about another Family ReUnion...................... soon.

January 2012
Well, another year has gone by....seems like they go by quicker every year!
Mike, this blog is a great idea. I would like to share what's happening with my family.
Well, Joyce and Leon or as I like to call them ....Mom and Dad. Dad stay's busy selling his tractors he finds on Craig s list and Mom she is doing well after a bout with a blood clout in her leg.
My daughter Joelle is a junior at New Mexico State University and in her second semester in the nursing program. My son Zachary is a senior in high school and is looking forward to graduating and attending NMSU next year.
As for me I have been in Los Alamos for nine months working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory's Network Infrastructure and Engineering dept.
Well, that's it for now have a great New Year everyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012.
This New Year begins with Kathy and I both Retired and looking forward to Travel and Leisure and seeing as much of Family as we can and being free to do the things we have looked forward to for oh so long. Kathy is turning into an inventor and innovator and we shall see how long the things she has come up with take to get to market. I think this must be in her blood as her brother comes up with a lot of innovative things also. Or used to anyway.
I am hoping that I can get more of the Family involved in this blod and get them to start telling everyone what their families are up to. Communication is the way of life and new tools to communicate are coming out almost daily. New Technology, new ways of doing business. Who knows where we go from here.
So, Family of mine. I hope you will join in on this blog and will add posts to it on a regular basis and let us know what you and your part of the family are up to.
Here's to a GREAT 2012..........
